Tech4Isreal is a non-profit organization promoting technological initiatives that will improve the lives of the Israeli people. Although Israel is leading technological revolutions in numerous markets, the adaptation of certain technologies in Israel has fallen behind other nations. We believe in taking action with urgency to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s Israeli society. ACTIVITIES
Making A Difference
TRANSPORTATION
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the Transportation challenge. New transportation technology can solve many issues that all Israelis are facing daily on their way to work.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
At Tech4Israel, we believe Israel should be at the forefront of using clean and renewable solar or wind energy as our main energy source. This should be augmented with the local natural gas. Implementing the correct technology, we believe that Israel can reach a target of 50% renewable energy by 2025.
ROAD SAFETY
With this initiative, our goal is to promote technology that can enhance driver, and pedestrian safety. At least 300 Israelis are killed every year on the roads. The right technology can reduce this by 50% by 2025.
CASHLESS SOCIETY
By eliminating cash, we will be creating a fair society, where all participants chip in to pay their taxes.
Today a large part of the Israeli society is cash-based, and doesn't participate in the tax burden.
